Atirix to sponsor Debbs Divas in the Breast Cancer 3-Day
Friday, September 19 - Sunday, September 21
The Breast Cancer 3-day walk is an amazing gathering to support the survivors of breast cancer and remember those that have lost their battle with breast cancer. Everyone deserves a lifetime!
“Working as an oncology nurse for 8 years, I have seen how cancer affects individuals and families in so many ways. This year the 3-Day walk will be even more meaningful as my Aunt Debb was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. Our team -- Debbs Divas -- is a group of supporters for my aunt as well as all other women and families dealing with the effects of breast cancer. We are determined to help find a cure for this dreaded disease!”- Tracey Dearing-Jude
The event is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment.
Atirix sponsors benefit hockey tournament
Atirix Medical Systems was a sponsor of the Stick It To Cancer women's hockey tournament at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota, April 18-20, 2008.
This event is a benefit to support the fight against breast cancer. More than 74 teams participated on pink ice in the tournament that donated 80 percent of its proceeds to the University of Minnesota Cancer Center.
Atirix/Provox sales & technology summit
The combined teams of Atirix and Provox sales, marketing and engineering professionals gathered in the Minneapolis office for a week long strategic meeting, June 2-6, 2008. While most time was spent on team building, business planning and technology strategy, some time was set aside for fun.
An employee event at Bayview Event Center on Wednesday, June 4th was the highlight of the week. Everyone was treated to a dinner cruise on beautiful Lake Minnetonka. Even the weather held out for the event.
